Announcement of the 2^nd International Conference on Retrofitting (ICSR) to be organized by the Iranian National Retrofitting Centre (INRC) and held in 2011

Over the years, major natural hazards (earthquakes, floods, landslides, extreme winds, tsunami) and man-made hazards have caused significant disruptions that have often had national and even international impacts. The Iranian National Retrofitting Centre (INRC) is delighted to announce that, on January 6, 2011, the 2^nd International Conference on Retrofitting would be held under the title

Retrofitting of Lifelines and Essential Facilities.

The Organizing Committee for the 2^nd International Conference on Retrofitting (ICSR), would like to invite you to submit an abstract by visiting the conference web page, if you have not already done so. The abstract submission deadline is January 31, 2010.

The conference will be held January 6-8, 2011, in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran, and will provide a unique environment to develop synergy between Iranian scholars and other participants from around the world.
